NEW MINA CAPUTO PHOTO SHOOT CONVEYS ITS MESSAGE WITH SUBTLETY
Mina Caputo — who you may have once known as Keith Caputo — recently participated in a shoot with famed metal photographer Jeremy Saffer, and… yeah, as you can see from the above sample for the session, I’m totally kidding about the “subtlety” bit. This is about as subtle as Joey Jordison is tall.
That being said, I’m not giving Caputo and Saffer shit — on the contrary, I applaud them. Subtlety isn’t what the topic of homophobia in metal needs right now; it’s far too serious an issue. If photos like the above get more people talking, well, I’m all for it.
