IS THERE A EUROPEAN TOUR IN THE HUMAN ABSTRACT’S FUTURE?

The reports of The Human Abstract’s demise are greatly exagggerated.

The band has now released their second music video in less than a month, this one for the song “Faust”…

…and it’s nice to see so much activity from a great band we thought might be dunzo, but this sort of activity would be even nicer: a highly reputable source that we trust 110% tells us that the band “may” do a headlining run in Europe this summer.

Obviously that word “may” means there’s no guarantee this will happen, but if the source is correct, there are at least discussions of such a possibility. And discussions mean that the band is making plans for its future, which is FANTASTIC. These dudes released the best album of 2011 — to see them call it quits now would just be heart-breaking.

I’m keeping my fingers crossed that this European trek does happen — but I’m keeping my fingers even crossedier that it’s followed by a U.S. tour.
