CHARLIE SHEEN REVIEWS LAST WEEK’S GUNS N’ ROSES SHOW

I know that Charlie Sheen stumbling, completely fucked-up, out of a Guns N’ Roses show in Los Angeles, and then talking to the press about that show, is only peripherally related to metal at best. But c’mon, this is fucking hilarious. Clearly, if only Axl Rose would hire Mr. Sheen to be his manager, all of his career woes would melt away.

In other Guns N’ Roses news, Robin Finck, the dude who actually wrote and recorded the song “Better” on Chinese Democracy only to leave the band before that album was ever released, re-joined the band last night to play that tune live. The bad news is, Axl Rose sounded like poop, but the good news is, Finck was his usually limber self, and fans got to hear his solo played the way it was supposed to be played, and, oh yeah, Dj Slashba left the stage entirely during the song. I know it’s sad that I’m actually willing to settle for a Robin Finck reunion in lieu of a full-on reunion of the original line-up, but what can I say, times are tough all over.
