YOUR GUIDE TO METAL AT SXSW 2012, ALL IN ONE PLACE
In case your inboxes, RSS and social network feeds somehow haven’t been completely overrun with it by now, breaking news: the music portion of SXSW starts tomorrow!!!
Vince, Corey Mitchell and Kip Wingerschmidt will all be representing the MetalSucks name down in Austin this week; say hi if you see them. Of course we’ve got our own showcase on Wednesday featuring High on Fire, Darkest Hour, Nachtmystium, Intronaut, Black Tusk, Holy Grail and Monstro, but we’ll also be checking out all things metal all week long. Corey is moderating a panel called Aesthetics And Visuals of Metal on March 15th at 2:45pm, featuring Clown from Slipknot and many others, while Vince is moderating a panel called “None More Black: How Extreme Can Metal Go?” immediately afterwards at 4pm.
