LACUNA COIL ARE ALSO GOING ON TOUR

I skipped seeing Lacuna Coil the last couple of times they were in town, either because they were touring with bands I didn’t care about, or touring behind an album I found underwhelming (Shallow Life). But their latest release, Dark Adrenaline, is so damned catchy, and it’s been a few years since I’ve seen Cristina Scabbia’s hideously ugly face up close n’ personal, so I’d be happy to go see ’em again now.

And I might get my shot next month: the band has just announced what a press release promises will be the “band’s only 2012 U.S. headlining run,” and they’re apparently going to play a two-hour-plus set every night, with material spanning their entire discography. There’s no word yet on who will play support, but since LC are the headliners and you can always get there late, it almost doesn’t matter.
