UNSIGNED AND UNHOLY: VULGAARI, SUNPOCRISY, SEAGULLS INSANE AND SWANS DECEASED MINING OUT THE VOID
Life is short. The worldwide talent pool of metal is vast and deep. Why not listen to a few fantastic unsigned metal bands today?
- Vulgaari: Slow, plodding, but darkly melodic doom. Kind of Atlas Mothian in tone and feel, but more deliberate and depressing. Some awesome twin guitar leads in Track 3, “Match.” If Type O Negative went doom they might sound like Vulgaari.
- Sunpocrisy: Atmospheric, proggy post-metal in the vein of Burst and Memfis. Superb arrangements and musicianship.
- Seagulls Insane and Swans Deceased Mining Out the Void: Yes, that mouthful is actually the band’s name, and their music is just as interesting. Black/industrial/post/shoegaze? I don’t know… just listen:
