ACCEPT THAT NEW ACCEPT IS AS GOOD AS OLD ACCEPT
Accept surprised pretty much everyone with 2010’s stellar comeback album Blood For Of the Nations. I was skeptical that Accept could be any good with anyone other than Udo Dirkschneider, but new vocalist Mark Tornillo (ex-TT Quick*) blew us all out of the water while underscoring the fact that the rest of the band, not Udo, had been cranking out those hits all along. MetalSucks’ resident Accept expert Leyla Ford was the one that really turned me around; check out her interview with guitarist Wolf Hoffman and her live review of a show Axl and I were at as well.
Zeez Germans haven’t wasted any time since relentlessly touring the world following Nations’ release; they’re already finished with a new album, Stalingrad, that’ll be released on April 6th via Nuclear Blast. Here’s the title track, via Metal Insider:
Bangin’, right??? I can just picture the synchronized guitar moves. There’s every reason to expect Stalingrad will be just as good as its predecessor.

*Whatever happened to the MS commenters who went by the handle “TTquick”? He was a mainstay in our very early days…
