BEST VIDEO EVER OF THE WEEK: METSATÖLL’S UNDERWATER JOURNEY

Here’s what I really want to know about “Küü,” the new video by Estonian folk metal band Metsatöll: did these dudes ruin perfectly good musical instruments by playing them underwater for this video shoot??? That they did in fact film this underwater instead of CGIing that shit seems pretty apparent; look at the way their hair and body parts move. But damn, those are perfectly good guitars, basses and drums (and a flute!) waterlogged and ruined forever. Also, how many takes did they need to get this right before these poor saps nearly died of oxygen deprivation? And how the fuck did the drummer stay anchored to his throne instead of floating to the top?? The mind boggles.

The footage of a bunch of nerds in cosplay are fun too, but if you wanna get to the good stuff fast-forward to around 1:10. There are also some mermaid boob shots, so I feel obliged to let you know this video is slightly NSFW.
