PHOTOS: LAMB OF GOD AND THE ACACIA STRAIN AT THE TROCADERO, PHILADELPHIA, JANUARY 26, 2012

Seeing a huge band in a small venue before their new album touring cycle kicks off is the absolute best. Just look at the above photograph of Lamb of God frontman Randy Blythe crowd-surfing at the Troc in Philly on January 26th; that kind of intense band-to-audience bond would never happen if the band were playing the size venue they’re now capable of filling.
