SUNDAY TO LAMB GODS TO
Here at MetalBeTerrible, we’ve been having quite a Lamb of God-centric week…
First, lil’ Vinnie Neilstein sang the praises of LoG’s comparatively tiny show at NYC’s Irving Plaza last Tuesday.
Then Samuel O’Hagar offered a review of the band’s new album Resolution (which we premiered a song from back in early December), claiming that LoG is “getting better” at LoG.
And now your creepy Uncle Wingerschmidt is here to remind y’all why we even liked these Richmond fuckers in the first place! What follows is a collection of MY fave tracks off Lamb of God’s first four albums…

As you can see I’m quite partial to Sacrament — same year as Blood Mountain, fuckin 2006 brah! — the songs are all so hooky & syncopated & EPIC, and the Roseland show from that touring cycle that Vince mentioned last week will be forever burned into my memory as perhaps the most metal show I’ve ever been to (or at least moshed to)…….there was a ginormous circle pit in the middle near the stage, and about four other mini-pits throughout the venue…
Pure American METAL, indeed!
