DAMONE DRUMMER DUSTIN HENGST PASSES AWAY

Damone drummer Dustin Hengst has passed away, according to Metal Insider (citing other band members’ Facebook pages as sources). Metalheads probably know Damone best for their acoustic cover of Iron Maiden’s “Wasted Years” (above), but the fact is that their 2006 self-titled album was a hard rockin’ good time; check out the title track, also posted above. Out Here All Night was a really solid album through and through that I listened to quite a bit when it came out, so this news bums me out in a personal way. Very sad.
