NEW SAMOTHRACE SONG FOR YOUR LISTENING PLEASURE, IF NOT OUR OWN
I honestly had a do a search to see if we’ve ever written about Samothrace before, and we have — all of three times, all in pieces penned neither by Vince nor myself. There are two conclusions one can draw from this fact:
- We’ve just never been motivated to write about Samothrace and/or do not know much about Samothrace.
- We’re just not huge Samothrace fans. I think this is an accurate statement, although I’m always hesitant to speak on Vince’s behalf.
But reader Shawn Kilmer sent us a link to the below video, of Samothrace playing a new song at a recent show in Seattle, and since Shawn believes that this band is “the best force in metal living right now,” I figured, “Fuck it, let’s post the video and let the readers have it out.” So watch this, then have it out. I’ll be curious to see if there are a ton of Samothrace fans out there not being serviced by MS. It doesn’t mean we’ll write about them more, it just means, uh, that then I’ll know that a lot of you like Samothrace.
