THIS OR THE APOCALYPSE SURE CAN JUMP UP AND DOWN IN UNISON
The interview that accompanied Noisecreep‘s debut of “Subverse,” the new video from This or The Apocalypse, tells me that “the song is sung from the perspective of a solider at war,” and not from the perspective of a band that relies almost as heavily on choreography as the Pussycat Dolls do. Still, I can see where such lyrics would nonetheless fall under the category of “write what you know” — I mean, it takes a lot of work and discipline to be in the army and then go off to war, and it takes a lot of work and discipline to plan out the choreography, practice it over and over again until you get it right, etc. So being in This or The Apocalypse and being in the army is pretty much the same thing.
In other news, it’s good see that the popularity of autoLabonte is finally waning.
