COOKING CONTAMINATED EPISODE 9: KING FOWLEY OF DECEASED
Eli Shaika is back with more Cooking Contaminated deliciousness, this time with drummer/vocalist King Fowley of legendary thrashers Deceased. The theme of Episode 9 is “game day” food… greasy, messy but oh-so-tasty finger food you can enjoy with your favorite cheap beer whilst watching the sporting event of your choice. King Fowley brings his recipe for “Easy Peazy” Ranch Pretzel Pieces to Eli’s kitchen along with homemade Chipotle Sour Cream Dip and Pepperoni Dip in which to smother them. Three easy recipes that’ll take no time to prepare but will satisfy your hunger for the duration of the game. Enjoy:

Chipotle Sour Cream Dip
1 8-oz container of sour cream
1 cup chopped chipotle peppers in adobe sauce
1 tablespoon lime juice
Chop chipotle peppers in a food processor. Mix in lime juice with sour cream. Chill in fridge for 30 minutes. Serve with CHIPS!
Easy Peezy Ranch Pretzel Pieces
1 bag of sourdough pretzels
2 packages of dried ranch dip seasoning
1 cup of butter
Crush pretzels into small, bite sized pieces in metal oven-safe bowl. Chop up butter and mix lightly with pretzel pieces. Heat in oven until butter is melted. Mix ranch dip seasoning thoroughly with pretzels and butter. Place in fridge until cool, or until it’s time to snack!!!
Pepperoni Dip
1 stick of pepperoni
1 bag of sliced pepperoni
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 oz brick of cream cheese
6 bagels (cut into small triangles)
Dice entire stick of pepperoni and mix with mushroom soup and cream cheese in medium sized bowl. Pour/scrape mixture into a small casserole dish. Layer with half of sliced pepperoni until the entire top is covered. Heat in oven at 350 degrees for 25 minutes or until pepperoni is crispy and dip is BUBBLY! Let cool for 5 minutes, then serve with bagel triangles.
Beer Pairing: your favorite cheap beer of choice. It’s game day, so DRINK A LOT!
