GRAYVE ROBBED

I’d wager that Joey Jordison and his Murderdolls will never, ever perform the above song live again.

From Slipknot’s official website:

“In a very upsetting turn of events we have learned that some gifts left for Paul [Gray] at his grave site have been stolen. There were statues of a gargoyle as well as a Buddah that were placed at Paul’s grave by his friends and family that were taken. We ask that whoever did this please return the items no questions asked. If anyone has any information about the stolen items please let us know by posting in the comments. Thank you for your continued support in this trying time.”

This is obviously really, really, really fucked up. It’s taking advantage of people’s grief for one’s own personal gain, which is about as low as humanity can sink. I don’t even know what to say about this; it’s, like, a level of sociopathic moral reprehensibility my mind can’t even comprehend. I could be as broke as broke gets, watching my child starve to death in a gutter, and I don’t think it would even occur to me go steal from someone’s grave.

So I’m just gonna quote Metal Injection, who really put it best: “Slipknot were right. People = shit!”
