YOU MAY KNOW DEVILDRIVER A LITTLE BETTER NOW

Last week DevilDriver began to unveil a feature-length, Daniel J. Burke-directed documentary, You May Know Us from the Stage, in increments via the internet. And that seemed really cool in theory — to release it to the fans for free like that — except that part one really wasn’t that interesting. But it was basically just an introduction, and now part two, which concentrates on the band’s early days, is out, and it’s a lot more fun to watch. Sure, there’s a certain amount of the band waxing their own car, but that’s to be expected; if you like DD, the nitty gritty of it is still worth your time.

DevilDriver recently completed recording a new album with producer Mark Lewis (a.k.a. “Lark Mewis”); presumably that will be out late this year or early next year.
