HIM’S NEW “HEARTKILLER” VIDEO: VILLE VALO, AMATEUR TAXIDERMIST

So I’m sitting here watching HIM’s new video for “Heartkiller” and I’m thinking “Okay. This isn’t exactly memorable or anything, but red and blue lights, a woman posing for no real reason, the word ‘love,’ lots of close-ups of Ville Valo. I get it. It serves its purpose.”

And the fucking Bambi shows up on-screen.

And it’s not even a live deer – it looks stuffed to me, although I suppose it could just be completely fake.

AND THEN THERE’S THUMPER, TOO.

And then a bunch OTHER animals.

Seriously, what the fuck is going on in this video? What was the thought process behind this? Someone smarter than me please explain, ’cause all I can keep thinking is “HUH?”
