Not only were/are Rage Against the Machine fiercely political and idealistic, they’re also perhaps one of the only examples of rap-metal done right. The video for “Bombtrack” from 1992’s self-titled debut showcases not only the band’s political bent but their heavy as fuck riffs and grooves. Come on – don’t front. You love Rage Against the Machine. McCain’s super-hard right wing VP pick? Not so much.
