CINEMETAL: BORN OF OSIRIS, “OPEN ARMS TO DAMNATION”

Deathcore fans: Born of Osiris are worth keeping an eye on. Vince and I got to check ’em out during their tour with our pals in At All Cost a few months back, and the band’s debut album, The New Reign, shows an awful lot of promise – I don’t know if their sound, which combines elements of classic death metal and hardcore with synths and Meshuggah-like off-kilter time signatures, is fully developed yet, but I wouldn’t be entirely surprised if their next album turns out to be the shit.
