GRUNGE SUPERGROUP JJJJAMMz OF THE DIZZAY

What an exciting pairing of bands at the time — Pearl Jam and Soundgarden — and while I would not specifically call out Temple of the Dog‘s self-titled (and only) 1990 album as having an extremely grungy sound, obviously it had the proper ingredients, and comprises a pretty fine collection of songs.

Everyone surely remembers the hit off this album, “Hunger Strike” (with Dr. Vedder himself joining Chris Cornell on alternating verse vocals), but here’s a few other winning tracks from said album:
