RUN, METALHEADS, RUN

I just saw the video for the latest Evergreen Terrace (aka Atreyu Lite) single, which has some dumb ass name about the dude from Helmet and Dick Cheney or some shit. ANYWAY, the video features a lot of the band’s fans running around like idiots*:

After it was over, I had to wonder… didn’t this whole “Have our fans running really fast in our video” thing seem kinda familiar?

The only one that I think is even  remotely decent is the Slipknot vid, mostly because those kids really did trash that house and the owners later tried to sue the band (who did they think they were being paid to let shoot in their home – Nickleback?).

Anyone know any other videos where some schmucky director thought this was a cool idea?

*On a side note, I can’t figure out what the singer in this band does, the guitarist and bassist seem to be doing most of the clean vox and the screaming. Is the dude with blond hair just like a hype man or something?
