If the following bands mean something to you, you best check out Emanuel’s latest release Black Earth Tiger IMMEDIATELY: Faith No More, Quicksand, Helmet, Far, Deftones, Cave In, Refused, At the Drive In, Glassjaw, Dredg. Fans of those bands will know exactly what I mean. Emanuel’s sound is some sort of bastard stepchild of all of those bands. Terry Date produced and mixed the effort, and it sounds absolutely amazing.
