“NEVER ENOUGH” DEMIRICOUS

l_747930ea9b7573990529c188dc64b799.jpgOur good friends over at Metal Injection report that Demiricous have posted a new song, “Never Enough Road,” from their forthcoming album, Two (Poverty), on their MySpace page.

The band has been promising that this album will sound less like Slayer than their debut, One (Hellbound) – which channeled Slayer so totally and effortlessly, the first time I heard it I thought it was Slayer with someone other than Tom Araya on vox. And this track certainly owes more to Pantera than Kerry King and company – hell, singer/bassist Nate Olp doesn’t even sound like the same dude that sang on One. I’ll let you guys and gals debate whether or not that’s a good thing.

Two (Poverty) comes out October 16 on Metal Blade.
