IF YOU’RE REALLY, REALLY BORED, THERE’S GONNA BE AN L.A. GUNS WEBCAST
Blabbermouth reports that L.A. Guns will webcast from the Galaxy Theater this Friday, August 31. The press release reads, in part:
“This version of L.A. GUNS consists of Tracii Guns (guitar), Chad Stewart (drums), Jeremy Guns (bass), and Paul Black (vocals). L.A. GUNS was one of the original bands that came out of the mayhem of the Sunset Strip in the 1980s, and, of course, its founder, Tracii Guns is the infamous “guns” behind GUNS N’ ROSES.”
There are, like, seven things wrong with this paragraph, not least of which is that it has to specify which version of L.A. Guns will be playing, and that Tracii Guns is still taking credit for being a founding member of Guns N’ Roses twenty two years after he left the band and twenty years after they recorded their debut without him and without using any material he’d ever written (in other words: he had nothing whatsoever to do with that band’s success).
But what I find really funny is that there’s some guy named Jeremy Guns in the band. Is this Tracii’s brother or cousin or something, or is this group really just that cool that they have two members with the same made-up last name?
