What upcoming, long-gestating project by the frontman of one of metal’s most revered and successful bands will feature appearances by current or former members of bands such as Nine Inch Nails and Primus?

If you guessed Axl Rose’s Chinese Democracy, guess again: Maynard James Keenan has, at long last, announced a release date for his Puscifer album. V is for Vagina (best title ever?) will be released October 30, and in addition to the aforementioned spots by Danny Lohner and Tim Alexader, there will be guest appearances by Lustmord, Telefon Tel Aviv’s Josh Eustis, the actress/failed singer Milla Jovovich, and one of Tool’s guitar techs.

The last time Maynard teamed up with a guitar tech, we got A Perfect Circle, so we have high hopes for this one. Plus, Maynard has compared the music to Aretha Franklin, so, y’know, we gotta hear that.
