NEW ICED EARTH ALBUM ART IS TYPICALLY METAL

I gotta say, I miss the feel of old metal cover art. There was just something about those old Maiden covers and their ilk that instilled a sense of fear in me that’s missing from today’s covers. That’s not to say you don’t see some cool ones every now and again – it’s just to say that the old days of art that looks like it will a) scare your church group (if you have a church group) and b) looks like it should be spray painted on the side of a van seem to be long gone.
