EX-MEMBERS OF 18 VISIONS FORM NEW BAND, AUDIO AVAILABLE
Mere months after the announcement that SoCal glam-core outfit 18 Visions had broken up, two of the band’s members have already gotten a new project off the ground. The group, called Never Enough, features 18V drummer Trevor Friedrich (drums) and Keith Barney (guitars), as well as newcomer Norman Matthew who handles vocals and programming duties. Don’t take that “programming” credit lightly — the three demos that Never 3nough has posted on their MySpace page are soaked in industrial samples and synth sound effects. When combined with guitar riffs easily as heavy as anything 18V ever released (if not heavier), the result is a new age industrial sound that recalls NIN, Filter, even a hint of Deadsy, but mixed in with a sense of melody unique to 18 Visions. The results are some really solid, well-produced songs that are highly worth checking out. No word yet on a record label, release, or plans for a tour.
