VIDEO OF THE DAY: SEVENDUST “BLACK” LIVE CIRCA 1997

There isn’t much info about this video in the YouTube description, but judging by how excited the band and all the fans are, I’d have to wager this is the first “pro” video the band ever shot. I’m guessing that the band or their label hired a camera crew in their home town of Atlanta, rented a venue, and invited a few hundred hardcore Sevendust fans down to be part of the video shoot. Just look at how frenzied the crowd is; this has got to be right after the band got signed when there was still a huge buzz about them, especially in their home town. Also, the band is absolutely on fire, pumped to be doing this video shoot. Though the quick video cuts that were popular in the era kind of distract from the performance itself, this is still an awesome video.
