VIDEO OF THE DAY: SAIGON KICK “HOSTILE YOUTH”

SAIGON KICK was one of the most underappreciated bands of the late hair-metal era, a victim of coming to the scene just a little too late, as well as being a little too varied in their sound for most people to digest. In “Hostile Youth,” Track 2 from their best album The Lizard, Saigon Kick is at their hard-rockin’ best, tearing shit up amidst burning brush in the middle of the desert. Guitarist Jason Bieler really needs to stop working with stupid bands like Smile Empty Soul (he operates Bieler Bros. Records with, surprise, his brother) and Matt Kramer needs to stop doing what he’s doing right now (though his solo project actually isn’t bad — check it out here) and these guys need to get the fuck back together and do a tour.
