WHERE STRIDES THE BEHEMOTH? AT OZZFEST!
Nile are heavy as fuck- so heavy, that everyone can’t help but comment how out-of-place they seem on this year’s Ozzfest bill. I mean, Atreyu they ain’t.
Now here comes black metal outfit Behemoth to make Nile feel a little more at home. While the two bands play different metallic subgenres, Behemoth’s brand of metal isn’t as accessible as, say, Cradle of Filth, the same way Nile isn’t as accessible as a band like Daath.
In a weird way, though, this makes sense: with no one getting paid, bands that need exposure are the most likely candidates to play the festival. And while Behemoth (like Nile) are already very successful within their own circle, I’m sure they noticed that playing Ozzfest did wonders for their peers Dimmu Borgir.
