VELVET REVOLVER WILL INDUCT AND PERFORM FOR VAN HALEN AT ROCK HALL OF FAME INDUCTION CEREMONY

I’ve often wondered what would happen if the Rock N’ Roll Hall of Fame inducted Guns N’ Roses. Who would show up for the ceremony? Who would perform? The obvious answer is that Axl would be a no-show, but would Steven Adler be temporarily allowed to join Velvet Revolver for an onstage mini-reunion?

This is really apropos of nothing, except that Van Halen can’t get it together enough to perform at this year’s induction ceremony. Having David Lee Roth, Sammy Hagar, and Michael Anthony in the same room as Eddie and Alex Van Halen seems to have proven to be just too much; whatever happened behind the scenes to put the kibosh on the VH-DLR reunion must’ve been worse than we even suspected. Velvet Revolver, then, in an effort to both pay tribute to Eddie and the gang and remind everyone that they have a new album coming out, will accept and perform in their stead.

Well… this should be interesting.
