“I’LL WAIT” TILL THE NEXT VAN HALEN TOUR

And just like that, my hopes of finally seeing a David Lee Roth-fronted Van Halen have once again been shattered. Pollstar.com reported yesterday that the tour, which was never officially announced despite a photo of the new lineup (right) on RollingStone.com, has been “postponed indefinitely.” I guess that a David Lee Roth-fronted VH playing material only from 1984 and earlier was too good to be true. I suppose I’ll have to settle for the other buzzworthy headline-making reunion tour this year, the Police. On second though, no, I just don’t care enough about the Police. Maybe next summer…
