He correctly identified last week’s logo as belonging to the band Crepitation, and now he’s won a super-sweet prize package from The End Records consisting of Enemy of the Sun’s Shadows, Sculptured’s Embodiment, Virgin Black’s Requiem Fortissimo, Jarboe & Justin K. Broadrick’s J2, and Nadja’s Turn Skin to Glass. You’re gonna get hours of pleasure outta those, Kaden, trust me.

This week we’re back to giving away one CD, but it’s an awesome CD: Iowa, the 2001 release by the masked marauders known as Slipknot. If for some reason you’ve never heard this disc before, well, it is fucking Brutal with a capital “B.” Seriously: it’s just nine crazy motherfuckers making a furious racket for 14 glorious songs – songs with titles like “People = Shit” and lyrics like “I wanna slit your throat and fuck the wound.” If that’s not fucking metal, I don’t know what is.
