If You Hate AI, You’re Really Gonna Hate Limp Bizkit’s “Turn It Up, Bitch” Video
I mean, you’re realllllly gonna hate the latest Limp Bizkit video because it’s 100% AI. From the overweight Fred Durst watching TV at home to the Miami Vice-looking Wes Borland, it just ain’t real. No real artistry was used in the clip. Probably didn’t cost a whole lot to make, but that’s probably (definitely) because no one alive actually made any of that imagery. And that’s gross.
But if you can get past how uncanny valley/vomit inducing the idea of AI is in music videos these days, if you like Limp Bizkit, or find yourself in the middle of this Venn diagram I’m drawing up, then you might like the clip. Who knows?
“Turn It Up, Bitch” was featured in the band’s 2021 release Still Sucks, so you’ve had roughly three years to decide whether this new dad-bod version of the band was your cuppa tea. And if it is, they’re heading out on tour later this month, with a range of supporting acts planned including: Bones with Eddy Baker & Xavier Wulf, N8NOFACE, and Corey Feldman.
