King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard to Release New Album Flight b741 This August

Australian psych rock mad lads King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard are back again with a new studio album, titled FLIGHT b741. It’s their 26th studio effort and their follow up to last year’s record The Silver Cord. Oh and it’s coming out on August 9 via p(doom) records.

According to the band, the first single and music video will be released on July 9, along with the new album’s pre-order. The band hasn’t been super talkative about it, other than to say the following:

“Been working real hard on this one. So excited for you all to hear it!

“Thanks for flying

“Love, stu xo”

Though we’re not sure what the single will be, there’s a good chance that it’ll be “Sad Pilot”, which they debuted live last year.

So buckle up, folks. Knowing this band, it’s going to be a wild ride.
