Iron Maiden Add Arizona Show with The Hu to Open Their North American Tour
Oh, you thought Iron Maiden was done announcing shows in North America for their run later this year? Think again. The iconic British heavy metal act added yet another day to their already extensive touring schedule on this side of the globe with the addition of a show on Wednesday, October 9 in Phoenix, Arizona.
Set to take place at the Footprint Center, the show is part of the band’s ‘The Future Past World Tour 2024,’ which sees them continue their run in support of their 2021 album Senjutsu. Naturally, they play all the hits from decades past too, hence the name, but regardless it’s always a good time.
Along with the announcement of another date getting added to the itinerary, Iron Maiden revealed that Mongolian metal act The Hu would be the supporting act for the entire North American run. Needless to say, the band is stoked about their selection.
“Iron Maiden is the master of the masters of rock music – they are one of the biggest inspirations to us! The way that they create and perform their music is majestic and we still remember the first time we heard their ‘Trooper’ song and felt the deep energy behind each word. Something about their rhythm hits so close to home and we can’t wait to be on a tour with them for the first time.
