Catch the Entire Sets of Both Gel and Scowl from That Infamous Sonic Drive-In Show

Remember last month when we reported on a chaotic show at a Sonic Drive-Thru in Southern New Jersey that featured Gel, Scowl, Exhibition, Chemical Fix and Phantom? At the time we only had a brief snippet of the bands’ sets but earlier today the YouTube channel hate5six posted the entire sets of both Gel and Scowl from that fateful show.

As a South Jersey metalhead and a dude who loves himself a Sonicburger from time to time (almost too often if we’re being honest), this shit is awesome. Any time I can combine my love for loud music and a strawberry limeaid, I’m in.

It’s also great that the bands were in on the absurdity of the venue, with Scowl vocalist Kat Moss actually belting out “what the fuck is up, Sonic” in a reference to that classic Denny’s hardcore show.
