We Know When You Can See Rob Zombie’s 3 from Hell
We’ve seen the (generally uninformative) trailer... we’ve heard a few tracks from the score… but now, at last, we know when fans will be able to see 3 from Hell, Rob Zombie’s highly anticipated sequel to House of 1,000 Corpses and The Devil’s Rejects. Blood Disgusting reports that an unrated cut of the movie, which presumably has more violence and/or sex than the R-rated cut, will screen in close to 900 movie theaters on September 16, 17, and 18. In what I have to imagine is an attempt to rope in fans for repeat views, each screening with include different bonus content:
- September 16: A video introduction by Zombie and the first fifty people through the door get an exclusive poster (which I assume is not the new poster above, because anyone could just print that image and make a poster of their own whether they arrive early or not).
- September 17: A 30 minute behind-the-scenes documentary.
- September 18: A double feature, which will also include The Devil’s Rejects
Unless you’re dying to see The Devil’s Rejects again, 9/16 and 9/17 seem like the best nights, content-wise.
In any case, tickets for all three nights will go on sale on July 19 via Fathom Events. Look for MetalSucks’ snarky review no later than September 19.
