Ex-Guns N’ Roses Drummer Steven Adler Stabbed Himself by Accident

This morning, word broke that original Guns N’ Roses drummer Steven Adler had been rushed to the hospital after stabbing himself in the stomach. And while the natural assumption when you hear the phrase “stabbed himself” is that the “himself” in question was trying to take his own life, Metal Insider is now reporting that this wasn’t the case:

“However, a representative for Adler has now announced that it was not a suicide attempt but just an accident. He goes on to say that the stomach wound was ‘very minor, superficial wound’ but wouldn’t go into any more detail. The rep did mention that Adler has been sober for several years and is still planning on playing on July 12 at the Golden Nugget in Las Vegas.”

We are glad Steven is okay and not trying to hurt himself! Now he just needs to learn to properly use cutlery and he should be all good.
