Lamb of God Robbed at Phoenix, AZ Show

0

A guitar and bass belonging to Lamb of God guitarist Willie Adler and John Campbell were stolen from the Ak-Chin Pavilion in Phoenix, AZ this past Thursday, May 2nd, while the band was setting up for their show with Slayer. Adler took to Instagram to describe the instruments, suggesting that the theft was an inside job perpetrated by an employee(s) of the venue:

“ATTENTION ALL…and particularly in the Phoenix area. My main beloved Warbird, along with @jayceerva one of kind hand painted bass; were stolen early Thursday morning from @akchin.pavilion in Phoenix. The pieces of shit that did this are suspected to be employed by @akchin.pavilion. local hands that were working Wednesday, our tour production day. Apparently, they waited around for all to leave, and made their way into the back of our semi to commit this felony. AGAIN..under the watch of @akchin.pavilion and their security. Karma is a fuckin bitch…”

Due to the highly customized nature of both instruments, it’s extremely unlikely the thief will be able to sell them without someone taking note — these kinds of instruments don’t just show up in pawn shops, and if they do, who’s the customer that can afford such high-priced items? Here’s to hoping Adler and Campbell get their babies back as soon as possible.

Dates for Lamb of God’s current tour with Slayer, Cannibal Corpse and Amon Amarth can be found here.
