Adam Jones Teases New Tool Riff

Update, 11:55 a.m.: This tweet from frontman Maynard James Keenan all but confirms that the band is gonna debut new material this weekend:

Will Tool debut new music during their set at this weekend’s Welcome to Rockville? This Instagram post from guitarist Adam Jones sure does seem to suggest so! In it, Mr. Jones plays what seems to be a new riff, along with the caption “Getting ready for Sunday” (Sunday being the day Tool will play Welcome to Rockville, duh). He also included the hashtag #TheFastingIsOver, which we can assume is a reference to the extremely long amount of time Tool fans have had to wait for a new album.
