Internet Battle Alert: Trivium’s Matt Heafy Comes to the Defense of Jared Dines!
Guys, I know what you’re thinking: this morning’s report that David Draiman has removed his chin piercings was the apex of critical journalism, and nothing could be possibly be more important today, this week, or maybe even this year (except, of course, for anything Corey Taylor thinks™).
Well, I have news for you! Hard-hitting, crucial, life-altering news! No, no, a member of Metallica hasn’t taken a shit, Devin Townsend hasn’t spilled his inner monologue onto a page and Ghost didn’t do anything Ghost-y. Dave Mustaine hasn’t even said anything idiotic in what seems like forever. But everyone’s favorite metal YouTuber, Jared Dines, has come under fire on Ultimate Guitar for his current tour collaboration with Trivium! Imagine that, internet commenters being mad. Meanwhile, Matt Heafy, defender of All That is Well and Good in Metal, has come to the rescue!
