Video: Between the Buried and Me Cover Cannibal Corpse’s “Hammer Smashed Face” Live

Summer Slaughter attendees at the August 9th show in Sacramento, CA got a special treat from headliners Between the Buried and Me: a cover of Cannibal Corpse’s “Hammer Smashed Face.”

BTBAM have a long-standing history of occasionally sprinkling covers into their set like their heroes in Dream Theater, but this one was especially notable for two reasons: 1) Unlike their usual go-tos (Rush, Pink Floyd, etc) they tackled one of the heaviest songs in existence, 2) the performance saw vocalist Tommy Rogers switch instruments with drummer Blake Richardson!
