Here’s Greta Van Fleet’s Zeppelin-tastic New Song “When the Curtain Falls”
I’m currently up in the Woodstock, NY wing of the MS Mansion, so I woke up early this morning to try my hand at fishing on the Esopus Creek just up Route 28 (I didn’t catch anything, but they don’t call it “catching”). My morning soundtrack: Led Zeppelin’s Houses of the Holy, unquestionably their best album, don’t @ me.
Funny coincidence then that Greta Van Fleet, the world’s greatest Led Zeppelin tribute band that doesn’t sing any Led Zeppelin songs, just released a new track called “When the Curtain Falls.” And it’s pretty good! If you like Led Zep it’s hard to imagine you won’t like this, so crank it and enjoy. If you were never into Robert Plant’s voice… well, you should probably just move along.
Greta Van Fleet still don’t have a full-length album out — just two EPs, both released last year — which is kind of hard to believe given how much hype they’ve garnered. I have to imagine we’ll see one soon; perhaps “When the Curtain Falls” will be on it.
