Rammstein Announce New Year’s Eve Beach Party Shows in Mexico
Because “German industrial metal” is synonymous with “beach party,” Rammstein just announced a pair of shows in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico this coming New Year’s Eve. The first performance will take place on the holiday itself, after which the band will take a day off and come back for more on January 2nd, 2019. Hey, giant bursts of pyro are kinda like more metal tiki torches, right?
Any Rammstein announcement is cause for celebration, and while a new album is on the horizon, let’s be honest: it’s really the live experience we’re all after! This could be a fun getaway for any of you disappointed Rammstein aren’t performing in the U.S. this year, although if the audience aboard the 70,000 Tons of Metal cruise is any indication folks may fly in from all over the world for this one.
Standard tickets cost $225 USD while VIP packages including a private area, raised viewing platform, “premium bathrooms” and phone charging stations are going for $395. All-inclusive packages including four-night stays at local hotels are also available and start at $3698 (yow). Tickets go on sale June 27th with more info available here.
