Death Metal Turtlenecks: Now a Thing

Longsleeves may be making a comeback in death metal circles, but this one we did not see coming: metal turtlenecks appears to be working their way into the fashion conversation.

Clothing company Patricia Rae has launched a line of “vintage turtlenecks from the late ’80s‬” with the company’s logo in a death metal font positioned amongst a floral arrangement. Lest you think this would be a very niche item, the design is already sold out, even more shocking given its hefty price tag of $64.00. A social boost from rapper Lil Aaron probably didn’t hurt.

I don’t even know what else can be said about this… it’s pretty ridiculous. I can only hope that at least one person who bought it became curious enough to check out some old Cannibal Corpse records.
