Slipknot Tease 2019 Release Date for New Album

Have you been keeping up with all the incremental updates from different members of Slipknot regarding the progress of their next album? No? What would Corey Taylor think???

Here’s an actual sort-of maybe kinda concrete update: Slipknot’s official Twitter account has posted a photo of Corey Taylor and Shawn “Clown” Crahan with the simple caption “2019.” In case it wasn’t clear what the message here is, Taylor is even winking at the camera (Slipknot fans do have a difficult time understanding subtlety, to be fair, so I can’t blame him).

So: new Slipknot in 2019. There you have it! Expect recording to commence in November of this year as previously announced.
