The Reunion of the Millenium
Every band will reunite sooner or later — but not necessarily with every member of its most famous line-up. No matter how badly fans clamor, no matter how many stars they wish upon or goats they sacrifice to Lucifer, there are some combos that will likely only ever exist again as the subject matter of headbangers’ wet dreams. You know the ones I’m talking about. Megadeth with Al Pitrelli. Anthrax with Paul Crook. Van Halen with Gary Cherone. Y’know. The classics.
One of these would-be reconciliations, however, has always been the most-requested by the masses. Part of this is because it seemed especially unlikely to ever happen, sure. But a lot of it is because this band, with this particular member, changed heavy music forever and all time. To see this particular version of the group together again, live, is a fantasy so lusted-after that fans scarcely dare speak its name.
Ladies and gentlemen, against all the odds, this is the reunion which has now taken place.
I’m talking, of course, about Limp Bizkit with DJ Lethal.
It goes without saying that this is a game-changer. You thought Axl Rose and Slash kissing and making-up was a big deal? P’shaw! Limp and Lethal are gonna make it rain, yo! It’s gonna be some Dethklok-level shit, for real.
Now if you’ll excuse me, I need to go change my diaper.
