Misfits Announce NYC-Area Reunion Show

Over the weekend the NYC division of concert promotion company Live Nation sent out a tweet strongly hinting that the Misfits reunion run would be coming to the area later this year. Lo and behold, now we have an official announcement.

The show is not in NYC proper, but just across the river in New Jersey, the band’s first show with this lineup (Glenn Danzig and Jerry Only) in their home state in 35 years. It’ll take place on May 19th at the Prudential Center in Newark with tickets going on sale this Friday, February 2nd at 10am EST via Ticketmaster.

Leave your phone at home, though, or risk incurring Danzig’s wrath! Or at least be prepared to lock it in a silly pouch, but feel free to flaunt the rules anyway.
