Andrew W.K. Goes Full Andrew W.K. on New Song “Ever Again”
I have a question, and I mean it in the nicest possible way:
Are we sure Andrew W.K. doesn’t do massive amounts of cocaine? It would explain both the seemingly-limitless joie de vivre and the nosebleed alike.
Whatever the dude is doing, it’s clearly working for him. The dude whose clothes always say “Bring me your sloppiest Sloppy Joe, I fear no stains!” has released a new single, “Ever Again,” which is like a soccer hooligan’s chant mixed with Queen, AC/DC, 80s pop, and Jamey Jasta lyrics. Basically, it’s Twisted Sister’s “We’re Not Gonna Take It,” only with a positive spin in place of a “fuck you” attitude. Which, come to think of it, kind of describes every Andrew W.K. song I guess. Hm.
Check out “Ever Again” below. The song will appear on Andrew W.K.’s new album, You’re Not Alone, which comes out March 2 via Sony. Pre-order it here.
